Concurrent-Articulation Task
Concurrent-articulation tast is a task used in many studies of working memory.
During this tast participants are required to repeat a phrase or word over and over out loud.
Concurrent articulation can be used to block use of subvocalization, and therefore can be used to study the function of subvocalization.
