Necessary Conditions
Necessary conditions are those conditions that must be fulfilled in order for a certain consequence to occur.
However, these conditions may not guarantee that the consequence will occur, since it may be true that other conditions must also be met.
Necessary conditions are often contrasted with sufficient conditions.
