Serial Position Curve
Serial positron curve refers to a data pattern.
It summarizes the relationship between some performance measure (often, likelihood of a recall) and the order in which the test materials were presented.
In memory studies, the serial position curve tends to be U-shaped, with people best able to recall the first-presented items (the primacy effect) and also the last-presented items (the recency effect).
